Jannike D’sa

I started my hairdressing career around 13 years ago while I was in my final year of university.

Born and raised in Mumbai, I have trained and worked with the Jean-Claude Biguine Paris team and moved around India working in a few different parts of the country. 

I moved to New Zealand permanently in 2013 and since then have worked in 2 very well known salons in the CBD and built up a loyal client base.

My strengths are custom colouring and precision styling, I am a curly hair specialist. I love a good colour correction or big colour change job, so if you are wanting something dramatic I am your stylist.

I love working with long and thick hair and enjoy teaching my clients easy and quick tricks to style their hair at home so they can look their best.

Taking on the salon manager role at So You has allowed me to grow my skills further and lead the team both creatively and personally.

When I’m not working, I’m usually either cooking or baking and I love keeping fit and active or relaxing with good friends and some good gin ;)
